Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
BCH Works (bchworks.com) is an independent Bitcoin Cash information site run by Panmoni (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the site collects, why, who else receives it, and what you can do about it.
The short version: you can read the whole site without an account, and we never ask for your name. We use Google Analytics, through Cloudflare, to count visits. If you email us or message us on Telegram, we keep that conversation. We do not sell personal data, and we do not run ads.
What we collect
Usage data (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and how they find the site. No Google script runs in your browser. Instead, a small script from Cloudflare Zaraz reports each page view to our own domain, and Cloudflare forwards it to Google. It collects:
- the pages you view, how long you stay, and the page that referred you;
- your browser, operating system, device type and screen size;
- your approximate location (country and city). Cloudflare passes your IP address to Google, which derives the location from it. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
Cloudflare Zaraz sets first-party cookies on bchworks.com that hold a random visitor ID and session counters, to tell a returning visitor from a new one. The visitor ID lasts until you clear it, up to your browser’s cookie lifetime limit (about 400 days in most browsers). We do not enable Google Signals, advertising features or cross-site ad personalisation, and we do not link analytics data to any other data about you.
You can block this collection with a content blocker or your browser’s tracking protection that blocks the /cdn-cgi/zaraz/ script. The Google Analytics opt-out add-on does not work here, because no Google script loads. The site works the same either way.
Server logs
Our hosting and content delivery provider records standard request logs: IP address, time, requested URL, referrer and user agent. These logs serve security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. The provider keeps them for a short period under its own retention rules. We do not use them to identify visitors.
Data stored in your browser
The site saves your light or dark theme choice in your browser’s localStorage. This value never leaves your device.
When you contact us
We have no contact form. If you email hello@panmoni.com or message us on Telegram, we receive your email address or Telegram username and whatever you choose to send. We use it only to reply and to follow up on your request. Telegram and our email provider process these messages under their own privacy policies.
What we do not collect
We do not run user accounts, comments, payments or advertising. We never ask for wallet seed phrases, private keys or passwords, and nobody from BCH Works ever will. Treat any message that asks for them as a scam.
Bitcoin Cash addresses and public data
Some pages show public blockchain data, such as network statistics, fees and block information. The Bitcoin Cash blockchain is public and permanent. If you send a transaction to an address shown on this site, that transaction is visible to everyone, and nobody can delete it.
Features we plan to add
We plan to add the features below. Each one will collect only what it needs, and we will update this policy before it launches.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we will store your email address with our email provider to send you updates. Every email will have a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Live network data. Pages may connect from your browser to our own Bitcoin Cash node service for real-time block and transaction data. That service sees your IP address like any web server does. We will not log which addresses or transactions you look up.
- Tools and submissions. Calculators, lookup tools, directory or merchant map submissions, and similar forms. Anything you choose to submit for publication, such as a project listing, becomes public.
Why we process your data (legal bases)
For visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and similar jurisdictions:
- Analytics and server logs: our legitimate interest in running a secure site and knowing which content is useful. Where local law requires your consent for analytics cookies, we will ask for it before we set them.
- Contact messages: our legitimate interest in answering you, or steps you ask us to take.
- Newsletter (when launched): your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who receives data
We share data only with the service providers that run the site:
- Google (analytics);
- Cloudflare, our hosting and content delivery provider (server logs, and relaying analytics to Google);
- our email provider and Telegram (messages you send us).
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
We do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising, as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We may disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Google Analytics: event data is kept for no more than 14 months, then deleted.
- Server logs: kept for the provider’s short default period.
- Emails and Telegram messages: kept as long as we need them to handle your request and keep a reasonable record of it.
- Newsletter (when launched): until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- move it to another service.
You can also withdraw consent at any time, and complain to your local data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, email hello@panmoni.com. We answer within one month, free of charge. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. Note that we usually cannot link Google Analytics data to a specific person.
We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal data. We do not sell or share personal data in the first place.
Links to other sites
BCH Works links to many wallets, exchanges, services and projects that we do not run. Their privacy practices are their own. Read their policies before you give them any data.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. It is a static site with no user database, so it holds very little personal data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, including before any planned feature above goes live. The date at the top shows the latest revision. If we make a material change that affects newsletter subscribers, we will also tell them by email.
